Memorial Services for Joseph Wendell McLeod, 64, of Downsville, LA, will be held privately by his family at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Mr. McLeod was born May 26, 1959, and passed away August 5, 2023.

Joseph was a retired truck driver, farmer, and a lifelong cowboy.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert McLeod; son, Joseph Clayton McLeod; grandson, Christopher McLeod; and step grandson, Jordan Elkin.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca McLeod; daughter, Kasey Rice and husband, Daniel Wyatt; son, Coby McLeod; daughter-in-law, Sarah McLeod; grandsons, Marvin McLeod, Gage McLeod, and JJ Frith; granddaughters, Trinity McLeod and Ivy Bridges; stepson, Charles L. Elkin; stepdaughters, Misty Castille and Michelle Patin; mother, Ernestine Wilson; brothers, James and Donald McLeod; sister, Martha Moore and husband, Isaac; sister- in- law, Elizabeth Gibney; grandson, Damien Jensen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
