Josephine E. "Jo" Fletcher

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Josephine E. “Jo” Fletcher, 80, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 13, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow in the Caney Lake Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Mrs. Fletcher was born on August 23, 1940 in Swan Quarter, NC and passed away at her residence with her family at her side on June 9, 2021. She was a very active member of the Community Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Jo enjoyed gardening, fishing, working puzzles, square dancing, and traveling back to North Carolina. She also enjoyed singing, both in the choir and as a “soloist”.

Survivors include her husband, David H. Fletcher; daughters, Dodie Neal (Michael), Sheryl West-Fritz, Jessica Fletcher, Sherry Avitabile and Ellen McCain; grandchildren, Justin Mouledous, Tyler Fletcher, and Matt Neal.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Fletcher, Stephen Kile, Justin Mouledous, Mike Neal, Matt Neal and Gary Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
