Karen Harrison Danna

Funeral Services for Karen Harrison Danna, 57, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 19, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Fr. Adrian Fischer officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service on Sunday. 

Karen was born June 21, 1966, in Monroe, LA, and passed away May 15, 2024, in Monroe, LA. 

Karen was a member of Our Lady of Fatima church and a previous member of Faith United Methodist in West Monroe. She was also a devoted mother who loved her children. She had such a loving and nurturing personality that she became like a second mom to all her children’s friends. Karen loved to cook, and she absolutely adored teaching her girls the same skill. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. 

Karen was preceded in death by her father, George Patrick “Pat” Harrison; her grandmothers, Camille Brodnax Harrison and Emily Hayes Davidson; her grandfathers, Melvin Flint Harrison and Herbert Paul Davidson; grandson, Hayes Alexander Laing; and her father and mother-in-law, Louise and Vince “VF” Danna. 

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Erma Davidson Harrison; husband, Tobias “Toby” Nicholas Danna; daughter, Toshia Hyatt Laing; son-in-law, Mitch Laing; daughter, Emily Danna Greer; son-in-law, Alan Daniel Greer; daughter, Amber Danna Cordova; son-in-law, Fernando Jose Cordova; daughter, Morgan Danna; grandsons, Harrison and Carter Laing and Willis Alan Greer; granddaughter, Anna Gayle Greer; brother, Stan Harrison; sister-in-law, Rebecca Rabb Harrison; and nephews, Hunter, Bruin, and Kenner Harrison. 

Pallbearers will be Hunter Harrison, Bruin Harrison, Kenner Harrison, Ian Smith, Chris Nelson, and Drew Danna.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Jones and Jacob Chapman. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
