Karen E. Lightsey

A memorial visitation for Ms. Karen E. Lightsey, 70, of West Monroe, LA, will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a service starting at 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Marcelle Crow officiating.

Ms. Lightsey was born July 23, 1953, in Atlanta, GA, and passed away September 4, 2023. She was a member of Refuge Methodist Church.

Ms. Lightsey was preceded in death by her daughter, Mica Lightsey; mother, Cynthia Brown; and her father, T. Warren Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Candice Upton; brother, Warren Brown; son-in-law, Jeremy Upton; and her puppy dog, Baxter.
