Katherine Ann Campbell Lightsey

Funeral service for Mrs. Katherine Ann Campbell Lightsey, 68, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery near Cross Roads, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lightsey was born on September 16, 1954, in Monroe and passed away on February 5, 2023, in Monroe. She enjoyed working in her yard and her work ethic was fierce, which she instilled in all of us. Mrs. Lightsey loved to work and loved her job. Just a few days before she passed, she said she was going to work. She can rest now. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Lightsey; parents, James Albert and Billie Jane Campbell; four sisters, Peggy Dunn, Bonnie Williams, Bobbie Williams, and Eva Campbell.

Survivors include her son, Lonnie Lightsey; daughter, Teresa Lofton and husband Jay; four grandsons, Dustin Lightsey and wife Britten; Caleb Lightsey and wife Breanne, Cody Lofton and wife Jessica, and Taylor Lofton and wife Briane; granddaughter, Kaci Lofton and Fiancé Brandon Nolan; great grandchildren, Drake Lofton, Anse Lofton, Charli Spears, Ridge Lofton, Kennedy Lofton, Creed Lightsey, Brooks Lightsey, Avery Lightsey, and Jameson Lightsey; brother, James (Buster) Campbell; two sisters, Barbara Toney and Pam Hollis; and a very special nephew, Allen Murphy.

Pallbearers will be Cody Lofton, Taylor Lofton, Dustin Lightsey, Caleb Lightsey, Blake Johnson, and Hunter Pittman.
