Kathy Rene Schempf

Funeral services for Kathy Schempf, 60, of West Monroe, will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday February 11, 2023 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating.

Kathy was born on November 6, 1962 in Monroe, LA, and died on February 6, 2023 in West Monroe, LA.

Kathy loved animals and thrift shopping. She loved people and helping everyone she could. Giving to others was her joy. She had a gift for making others laugh and a smile to light up any room.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Pam Perdue.

Survivors include her father, Gene Schempf; sister, Sharon Wallace and husband Jerry; step-sister, Charlotte Bailey; nieces Misty Finley and husband Brandon, Miranda Wallace, Ashlely Bailey, and Stormy Bailey; great nephews, Braxton Finley and Jase Finley.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday February 10, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
