A memorial service for Katie Sivils, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Lakeshore Baptist Church, Monroe with Brother William Smith officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Katie was born July 25, 1941, in Monroe, and passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, in Monroe. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Monroe.

She is preceded in death by her father, L.V. Arrant, Sr.; mother, Florence Arrant; and sisters, Virginia Hart, Carolyn Rensen, Jeanie Flanagan and Lorene Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Roy Sivils; son, Phillip Sivils (Mary Ann); daughter, Sharon Williams (Mike); grandchildren, Mandy Price, Allie Barfield (Joel); great grandchildren, Drew Price and Rylie Price; sisters, Evelene Malone (Ralph), Shirley Sumrall, Martha Moody, Elaine Smith (Roy), Cecilia McGee (Frank), Betty Solomon (Eshou) and Joanie Slagle; brothers, Vernon Arrant and Kent Arrant (Jeanne); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
