She was an operator at Packaging Solutions. A hard worker who was passionate about her hobbies, like sewing and arts and crafts. Making things for her family and friends brought her joy. As a little girl she loved going to church and being an active part of her church family. Kelly absolutely adored being a grandma, it was her proudest achievement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin L. Gilbert, Sr. of West Monroe; and her father, Doc Rice of Eros, LA.
Survivors include her children, Kevin Gilbert, Jr. of Arkansas, Samuel Roy Gilbert of Arkansas, Alice Marie Gilbert of West Monroe, and Allison Faye Gilbert of West Monroe; her mother, Nancy Cummings of West Monroe; sister, Rebecca Rice of West Monroe; brother, Michael Rice of West Monroe; grandson, De’Kaari Wilson; granddaughter, Alicia Gilbert; and extended family, Brandon Massey of Calhoun, and Bridget Massey of West Monroe.
