Kenneth Tolbert Sims

Memorial services for Mr. Kenneth Tolbert Sims, 83, of Monroe, La will be held at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA at  a later date, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Sims died October 27, 2022, at the Christus St. Joseph Nursing Home in Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. He was a United States Navy Seamen Third Class serving in World War II. Mr. Sims worked and later retired from Woolwort's.

He was preceded by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Mae Sims, and cousin, Judy Jones.

Survivors: Aunt, Patsy Angenell O’Neal; Cousins, Catherine Parham Tolson and her husband, Steve and Patrick Aubrey Parham; cousin-in-law, Harris Buddy Jones; and special friend, Andy Sloat.

Memorials may be made to any Veteran’s charity organization.
