LaJuana Jo Stephenson, 67, of Monroe, Louisiana was born on September 13, 1958, and passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, after losing a year-long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, with Rev. Joseph Martina officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

As an exuberant youth, she enjoyed dancing, skating, and gymnastics. As an adult, LaJuana worked many years as a dental hygienist where she loved meeting people and being helpful. In her later years, she was a bright light amongst a special community of friends at Ouachita Grand Plaza.

LaJuana is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary Agnes and John Silas Stephenson, one brother, Vernon Stephenson, and one sister, Jane Guthrie.

Left to remember LaJuana are her six children, Lori Ann Hunt (Buford) of Sterlington, LA, Christopher Jason Presnall of Shreveport, LA, Jeremy Glenn Presnall of Sterlington, LA, Lindsey Brooke Presnall Shaw (Shooter) of Sterlington, LA, Scott Orion Sullivan of Memphis, TN, and Michael Craig Sullivan (Victoria) of West Monroe, LA; eight grandchildren, Briana Presnall, Kamryn Presnall, Alexis Presnall, Stella Shaw, Shelby Shaw, Cotton Shaw, Waylon Sullivan, and Naomi Sullivan; two sisters, Dorothy Watson of Monroe, LA and Barbara Duffey of St. Clair, MO; and one brother, Steve Stephenson of Monroe, LA. The family would like to thank LaJuana’s friend, Judy Coon for the love and care that she provided over the difficult past year.
