Graveside services celebrating the life of Larry Wayne Lewis, Jr., 49, of Downsville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 8, 2026, at Drew Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Smith officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 7, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Lewis was born on February 11, 1977, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on May 1, 2026.

Larry was a proud graduate of Downsville High School; he went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He was happiest when he was outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he had a deep passion for sports and singing. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Gail Henry; father, Larry Wayne Lewis, Sr.; and brother, PeeWee Poe.

Those left to honor his memory are his son, Hunter Dakota Lewis; daughter, Jessie Leigh-Anne Spillers Futch (Hunter); stepfather, Frank Henry; former wife, Lori Cox; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
