Laura Louise Bass Sutton

Graveside services celebrating the life of Laura Louise Bass Sutton, 69, of Sterlington, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Forest Corner Church of God Cemetery.

Laura was born on March 10, 1956 and passed away at her residence in Sterlington, Louisiana on June 13, 2025.

Mrs. Sutton was a wife, daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her gardens. Laura loved her animals especially her dogs. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. Laura loved the outdoors and spent much of her time birdwatching. She was a hard worker and loved taking on new projects. To know Laura was to love her and she will leave behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

She is preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Angela Nicole Sutton; father, Henry Bass; mother, Christine Sanders; sisters, Judy Bonnett and Linda Orr; and brother, Jerry Bass.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Sutton; stepdaughter, Stacey Sutton; sister, Virginia Bonnett and husband, Randall; brother, David Bass and wife, Tammy; niece, Kayla Cook; nephew, Darren Bonnett and wife, Lori; great nieces, Emma Grace Cook and Autumn Bonnett; and great nephew, Ben Bonnett.
