Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Mae Batson, 86, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Batson passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007. She was a member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Melva ( Micey ) Underwood and husband Homer; grandchildren, Charles Simmons and wife Shelly, Daniel Simmons and Lisa, Deborah Simmons, Timothy Simmons and wife Theresa, Suzanne Hewett and husband Jim, Rodney Underwood, and Sheryl Alexander and husband Billy; seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Loch Arbor Baptist Church at 3960 Hwy 139, Monroe, LA.
