Memorial visitation for Ms. Lena A. Clower, 97, of Monroe, LA, will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM Monday, March 23, 2026, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Ms. Clower will be interred later in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Clower was born on March 31, 1928, in Independence, LA, and passed away on March 19, 2026, in Monroe. She worked for Monroe Police Department as a crossing guard at Minnie Ruffin School for over 28 years. Then she worked at the Picadilly for over 15 years. She was preceded in death by her son, James Clower; two sisters, Angie Polito and Mamie Goggschulk; brother, Roy Francimore; and son-in-law, Vernon Ford.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Ford, Tommy Clower (Judy), and Wayne Clower (Sandra); nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
