Obituary

Funeral services for Lillian JoAnn Brady, 85, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 26, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with Johnny Brady, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at the Lord’s Campfire Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 25, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Lillian JoAnn Brady was born on May 11, 1941, in Winnsboro, Louisiana and passed away on June 23, 2026, in West Monroe, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family.

Lillian will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind spirit, and reading the bible and talking about the Lord. She especially loved working in her yard, where she spent countless hours tending flowers and creating beauty for all to enjoy. She was a faithful member of the Lord’s Campfire Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Elton Brady; daughter, Brenda Brady Green; parents, Johnnie and Ferbie Cupp; brother, George Alvin Cupp; sisters, Fannie Bell Cupp and Evelyn Reagan.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, James A. Brady, Sr. (Resa) and Johnny Brady (Lisa); grandchildren, James Brady, Jr. (Melissa), Johnny Brady, Jr. (Tracey), Aaron Brady (Emily) Darren Hutto, and Gavin Schanks (Kathryn); great grandchildren, Jayden, Braxton, Branson, Drake, Emma, Addyson, Kinsley, and Brooke; great great grandchildren, Athena and Juniper; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
