Lillie Mae Shell Bush, 80, of Winnsboro, Louisiana was born on June 15, 1945, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on January 19, 2026.

Lillie’s life was a quiet testament to dedication, kindness, and the gentle strength that lifts others without ever asking for recognition. As a medical technologist at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, she poured her skill and compassion into every day’s work, touching countless lives with her steady hands and caring heart.

Beyond her profession, Lillie was the center of warmth for those who loved her. She was a devoted wife, a loyal and cherished friend, and an aunt whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of being truly seen. Her kindness was effortless, her generosity sincere, and her love unwavering.

Those who knew her will remember her soft smile, her thoughtful spirit, and the way she made even ordinary moments feel meaningful. Lillie leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and quiet grace that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to share life with her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Edward Bush; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Shell; and her brother, James H. Shell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Peggy Shell; niece, Sherry Shell Cooper–Carroll (Tim); as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
