Linda J. Clark

Life Celebration for Linda Mae Jackson Clark, 84, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 9, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Dusty Gallup officiating. Interment will be in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.

Linda was born on August 16, 1938, in what would be a large and loving family, and passed away on February 6, 2023 in West Monroe, LA surrounded by her loved ones.

Having married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Clark in 1957 they made their home in West Monroe. While he worked at Olinkraft, Linda maintained various jobs outside the home until they built B&L Quickstop, operating it until their retirement in 1986.

As a founding member of the West Monroe Moose Lodge, she attained her goal of Senior Regent. She remained an active member of the Moose Lodge because she was inspired by their charity work and local fellowship.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bessie Jackson, husband Bruce Clark, grandchildren, Kristy Fleming, Ashly Fleming, Karen Fleming, John Russell Hogard, III, brothers-in-law, Gillis Cupit, Clarence Clark, and Jimmy Clark.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Fleming (Ed), Marsha Hogard (Russ), Kenneth Clark; grandchildren, Whitney Gallup, Megan Burkeen, Emily Rowton, Jennifer Myers, Dixie Hebert, Jake Clark; step-grandchildren, Shelly Allen, Dalton Myers; great grandchildren, Justus and Taryn Gallup, Tesslynn Rowton, Jonas Myers, John and Julianna Hogard, Jezebelle and Ember Hebert; brothers, Farrell Jackson(Maxine), Tommy Jackson (Lil), Bobby Jackson (Betsy); sisters, Delores Leach (Jack), Marilyn Robinson, Susie Cupit, Judy Foster (Jerry); brothers-in-law, Richard Clark (Kat), Edward Clark, Paul Clark (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Suzi Clark; numerous nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be Jon Burkeen, Jakob Rowton, John Russell Hogard, IV, Justin Foster, Jonas Myers, and Rob Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Eldridge, Mike Myers, Justus Gallup and Jake Clark.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
