Linda Francis Pope

Memorial Visitation for Linda Francis Pope, 70, of Monroe , will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Pope was born August 9, 1946 in Alexandria, LA and passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Norlean McFarland; son, Jeffrey S. Pope; and a nephew, Josh Brumfield.

Survivors include her son, Jason Pope and wife Patti of Sterlington, LA; brother, Guy McFarland and wife Mary of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Carol McFarland of Alexandria, LA and Cindy Brumfield and husband Gerard of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Denver Waren, Jase Pope and Presley Kate Turner; nieces, Kaitlyn McFarland, Madelyn McFarland, and Lauren McFarland; nephew, Chase Brumfield; and special friends, William N. Pope, Jr., Brenda Wade, and Steve and Laurie Inscore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local drug rehabilitation program of your choice.
