A memorial service for Mrs. Linda Belle Middleton Clark will be held on May 22, 2025 at 11:00AM Thursday at North Monroe Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Dye and Rev. Warren Echhardt officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M until the service at 11:00 A.M.
Linda was born on September 29, 1938, in Yazoo City, MS and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 18, 2025 in Monroe, LA.
Linda was loved by all. She was a prayer warrior and had the heart of a servant. Linda was a member of First Baptist Church in Groves, TX for over 60 years where she taught many years of kindergarten Sunday School and other Sunday School classes, sang in the choir, and helped count the weekly offering. She was also a member of North Monroe Baptist Church from the summer of 2022 until her death. She loved to attend any Bible study offered and surrounded herself with other believers.
She was a hard and loyal worker. She worked as an administrative assistant and insurance supervisor to the president of Market Basket Corporation in Southeast Texas and Louisiana for 30+ years until her retirement.
She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and having the grandchildren and great-grandchildren around to keep her happily smiling. She was known for excellent home cooked meals with gumbo and potato salad being requested quite often. She was a wonderful friend and loved them all deeply. She enjoyed getting her hair fixed weekly at the salon calling this time her “holy day of obligation” and since coming to Monroe had it done by her youngest granddaughter each week.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald Bowen Clark, her Sister-in-love Rita Middleton, her parents Walter and Molly Middleton and several siblings. Linda is survived by her daughter Cindy Arredondo and husband Lasaro of Celina, TX; son Kenneth Clark and wife Tammy of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Bethany Montgomery and husband Zachary of Prosper, TX, Kaitlyn Sisk and husband Jeremy of Monroe, LA, Rebekah Arredondo of Dallas, TX, Kendra Clark of Monroe, LA, Nathan Arredondo of Round Rock, TX, and Kyra Clark of Monroe, LA; great grandchildren Landry and Adley Montgomery and Teddy Sisk; brothers Carl Middleton of Colorado Springs, CO and Richard Middleton and wife Rebecca of Richland, MS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by her dear Sister-in-love, Sister-in-law Margie Clark Usey of Little Elm, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Groves or The Open Arm’s Special Needs Ministry of North Monroe Baptist Church.
