Funeral services for Linda Patton Winters, 79, of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at New Zion Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Tommy Basco officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 P.M. until the service time, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Linda was born on August 24, 1946, in Many, LA, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. She was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church and retired from Franklin State Bank after 32 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, J.C. Winters; parents: Esther and Avard Sibley (Stepfather) and Ira Patton; sister, Barbara Specht; and grandson, Jarrett Turner.

She is survived by her children, DeAnna Turner (Byron) and Jeff Winters (Bailey); Grandchildren, Blaine Winters, Carson Winters, Jameson Turner, and Jacie Turner; great-grandchildren, Alarie Kenney, Bella Williamson, and Lea Ella Turner; Sisters-in-law, Earline Simons and Judy Knight; Special Niece, Tammy Smith Jordan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Blaine Winters, Carson Winters, Jameson Turner, Johnnie Brown, Glen Smith, and Terry Sharp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Walker, Clark McCain, Brad Chapman, Joe Doughty, Pat Hollis, and Stan Ezell.
