Funeral services for Mrs. Llen Trichel Urban, 74, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, with Rev. Dana Thrash officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the funeral home.
Llen was born on October 20, 1951, in Monroe and passed away on June 23, 2026, in Monroe. She was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School, Class of 1969. After high school, she worked as a dental assistant. Llen met her husband Bobby and they married in 1982. Together they owned and operated Urban Ceramic Tile, Bob Moss Carpet One, and B & L Urban Enterprises. She was a member of the “Diva Pearls”, a group of high school lady friends whose lunch dates and messenger chats brought her much joy and laughter. Llen and Bobby enjoyed traveling the United States alongside their daughter, Ashley, in their motorhome throughout the years. They also enjoyed time spent with family and friends at their camp on Lake D’arbonne where they would frequently take boat rides and go fishing. Llen was a listening ear to those closest to her heart and never let a silence sit for long. The light in each day was found from her granddaughter, Amelia, who she cherished deeply.
Llen was preceded in death by her parents, John E. “Jack” Trichel, Sr. and Mary Nell Maxwell Trichel; two brothers, Johnny “Smoe” Trichel and Jack C. Trichel; and nephew, Tyler Gill.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Bobby Urban; two daughters, Ashley Urban Gore and husband Matthew and Rachel Urban Robinson and husband Scotty; sister, Melissa Gill and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Amelia Barger, and Hunter, Katelyn, and Anna Claire Robinson; nieces, Simone Trichel, Megan Willis and husband Mike, and Mary Atkins and husband Michael; and sister-in-law, Brenda Urban.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Robinson, Scotty Robinson, Matthew Gore, Mike Mathieu, Jack Williams, and Ray Urban, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Buck Raus.
Any memorials for Llen may be sent to the charity of your choice.
