Lloyd Franklin Rice

Mr. Lloyd Franklin Rice, 81, of Monroe, LA, was born September 1, 1943, in Monroe, LA, and passed away April 12, 2025.

Mr. Rice was a member of Christian Life Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend to all. He worked as a Tunneling Operative for Orville Dam, and Operator for Bancroft Bag.

Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Rice; father, Claude Rice, Sr.; brother, Claude Rice, Jr.; son, Kenneth Rice; and daughter, Debra Rice.

Survivors include his wife, Nita Rice; daughter, Dena Rice; stepdaughters, Cynthia and Wendy Lawson; granddaughter, Jacoba Hoffman; sister, Inez Boland; and brothers, Vernon Rice (Brenda), LeRoy Rice (Judi), Eddie Rice (Debbie), and Johnny Rice.
