A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Lottie M. Corbin, 84, of Winnsboro, LA, will bea 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe with Destiny Black and Nick Marchand officiating. 

 

Mrs. Corbin was born August 31, 1939, and passed away on February 23, 2024. She retired from Save A Lot in 2016. Mrs. Corbin was known for her cooking. She enjoyed being outside and looking at her flowers. She loved her family dearly.

 

Mrs. Corbin is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Johnnie McDaniel Barefield; husband, William Alan Corbin, Jr.; daughter, Paula Maxine Lawrence; two great-grandchildren, Rayna Hope Marchand and Micah Thomas Marchand; as well as her siblings, Mammie, Emma, JB, Carl and Lynn.

 

Survivors include her three children, William Alan “Butch” Corbin, III.; Kathleen Taylor, and Lisa Marie Lawrence; four grandchildren, Rebecca Nicole Lawrence and husband Larry, Destiny Michelle Black, Eugene “Bud” Lawrence, Jr. and wife Janis, Heather Danielle Marchand and husband Nicholas; six great-grandchildren, Collin Alan Washington, Caleb Reed Washington, Hunter Lowery, Nevaeh Lowery, Jordan Lowery, and Toni Nicole Marchand; five siblings, Robert Barefield and wife Kay, Russell Barefield and wife Tommie, Raymond Barefield and wife Virginia, George Barefield and wife Janice, Betty Peterson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robin Barefield for everything she did this last year.

 

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
