Krupicka
March 3, 1933 – April 9, 2026
Lydia Elizabeth Krupicka, a woman of faith and enduring love, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2026, at the age of 93.
Born on March 3, 1933, Lydia was the cherished daughter of Mason Gorby and Jo Matthews Gorby. She was raised in a close-knit family alongside her siblings, Mason Gorby, Jr., Jo Nell Gorby Farrow, Akron Gorby, and Glenn Gorby. She was preceded in death by her parents and three of her siblings, and is lovingly remembered by her brother, Akron Gorby.
Lydia’s life was a beautiful reflection of her deep faith and devotion to family. She is survived by her beloved son, Mark Krupicka and daughter-in-law, Joan McMullen Krupicka of Monroe, Louisiana; and her daughter, Donna Krupicka Thompsen and husband Jeff Thompson of Odessa, Texas.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren- Matthew Krupicka, Morgan Krupicka Ford, and Jennifer Zamora; and her eight great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Lydia will be remembered for her spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love for those around her. Her life was a testament of kindness, strength and faith, and she leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory.
Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with those who have gone before her, and resting in the eternal embrace of Jesus.
