Funeral Services for Lynetta Johnson, 65, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:30 A.M, Saturday, August 21, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Van Brass officiating. Interment will follow in Richwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Saturday.

Lynetta was born February 16, 1956 and passed away August 16, 2021. She attended Northeast Louisiana University. Lynetta was a Licensed Florist and the Manager of Mulhearn Flowers for forty-three years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richmond and Laura Goins; her son, Thalamus Goins; four brothers and three sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Charles D. Johnson; son, Jeremie Johnson; her grandchildren, Ja’Miah Johnson, Cartel Johnson, Prince Charles Johnson, Antoinee` J. Ellis and Carriana L. Goins; sisters, Patricia Ann Reed, and Terri Goins; brother, Larry Goins (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Rebecca Moffit and husband Leo, and Katherine Washington; brother-in-law, Larry Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Andre Barnett, Louis Fuller, Terasheo Wines, Dominque Shaw, David Clark, and Eric Goodjoint.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
