Ann was born August 17, 1943, to Charles “Chock” and Eva Bernard at the Bernard homeplace and passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026.

Ann grew up in Old Floyd, the last of seven siblings: Jenny Thomas, Charles “Buddy”, Betty Brantley, Harold “Harry”, Ralph, and James “Jimmy”.

After graduating from Pioneer High School, she continued her education in Education at Northeast College, graduating in 1964. While attending college, Ann met the love of her life, William “Bill” Huth. They married on August 2, 1965, and began their lives together in Minden, LA.

Ann taught 5th grade, she and Bill enjoyed training and racing horses.

Her yard was always a showplace and was well known for its perfect picture beauty. She delighted sitting on her porch with her puppy greeting neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her beloved “Bill”.

Final resting place will be Old Floyd Methodist Church Cemetery.
