Marjorie Helen Mantle Lee

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Marjorie Helen Mantle Lee, 91, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Lee was born September 11, 1933, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2024. She worked for a few years at Ozark Airlines and then got married and started her family. Mrs. Lee was member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lee was a skilled crafts person, specifically with calligraphy and wreath making.

Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Mantle and Edna Laubauch Mantle; seven siblings, Gertrude Mantle Leer, Nevin Mantle, Paul Mantle, Ralph Mantle, Boyd Mantle, Isabel Mantle Yorks, Clair Mantle, all of Pennsylvania. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Lisa Lee of Greensboro, NC and Sharon Lee of Lancaster, SC; one son, John Lee of West Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Isabella Lee of Lancaster, SC; sister, Carol Mantle Straub of Jersey Shore, PA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. 

 The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ridgecrest Community Care Center.

 Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
