Marlene Angie Cummings Greer

Funeral services for Mrs. Marlene Angie Cummings Greer, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Greer was born on June 21, 1938, in West Monroe, LA and passed away on September 17, 2023, in West Monroe, LA. She was a graduate of West Monroe High School and a member of Swartz First Assembly.

Mrs. Greer loved the outdoors, working in her flower beds, hunting, and fishing and her trophy fish was a 2 ¾ lb., white perch. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, John Greer; parents, James and Mittie Cummings; grandson, Aaron Lewis; brother, J. T. Cummings, Jr.; and four sisters, Iva Griffin, Edna Green, Grace Lee and Pennie Mae McGrew. 

Survivors include her children, Kim Greer Lewis (Bill), Chris Greer (Eileen); Mickey Greer (Kim), and brother, Dwayne Cummings (Reba); sister-in-law, Ruby Reeves; grandchildren, Heath Lewis (Amy), Scott Lewis (Brandy), Christin Raley (Ben), Robin McKee (Garrett), Whitney Harper (Micah), Matt Greer (Lauren), Josh Greer (Caitlyn), and Mandy Coker (Hunter); great grandchildren, Cassie Boggs (Jared), Allee Parker (Justin), Sydney Lewis, Collin Lewis, Ryanne Lewis, Landry Lewis, Annabelle Lewis, Amelia Raley, Olivia Raley, Lane Harper, Laci Harper, Lexi Harper, Hunter McKee, Ledger McKee, John Greer, Travis Greer, Indie Greer, Stone Greer, and another one on the way; great great grandchildren, Easton Boggs, Ella Boggs, Aaron Boggs, River Parker, and Rylee Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Heath Lewis, Scott Lewis, Matt Greer, Josh Greer, Ben Raley, Micah Harper, Garrett McKee, and Hunter Coker.
