Mary James Behlar

Funeral service for Ms. Mary James Behlar, 68, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Monroe will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Michael Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00AM Wednesday, July 9, 2025, until service time at the funeral home.

There will also be a memorial service held at 2:00PM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Harahan Playground, 6601 Tenth Street New Orleans, LA.

Ms. Behlar was the owner and operator of the oldest Parfums Store in America. She was given a Music Arts Scholarship for her singing. Ms. Behlar loved traveling the world and cooking, but her passion was for her children, grandchildren, and family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Behlar.

Survivors include her children, Joshua Michael Behlar and wife Jenna, Arthur Michael Behlar IV and wife Brooke, Lisa Behlar Negrotto, Allison Behlar Delgado and husband Adam, and Daniel Behlar and his wife Anna; grandchildren, Maxwell Behlar, Mavrick Behlar, Emma Behlar, Antonio Behlar, Oliver Behlar, Rhema Behlar, Caleb Behlar, Arthur Behlar V, Luka Behlar, Nolan Behlar, Britt Baudier, Dominic Negrotto, Angelo Negrotto, James Pomet, Landon Pomet, and Haley Brehm; sister, Lisa Webre; two brothers, Alan Fowler and John James; and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Paiz, Chris Haas, Hunter Lloyd, Joshua Behlar, Daniel Behlar, and Michael Behlar.
