Born on November 25, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Tames. She graduated high school in Indianapolis and began her career making vinyl records at RCA. Later, she became the head bartender at the Officer’s Club in Fort Benjamin Harrison, where she met the love of her life, Roy James Boudreaux.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her children, Denise Detrick, Kathleen Willitzer, and Phillip Tames; as well as her siblings, Mike Tames and Margaret Tames Lauck.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Roy James Boudreaux of Warner Robins; children, Ronald Mays (Harlee Marie Genzanto) of San Antonio, Texas, Monica Ann Boudreaux of West Monroe, Louisiana, Bryan James Boudreaux (Renee) of Ruston, Louisiana, and Brad Boudreaux (Hollie) of Monroe, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; as well as several other extended family members and friends.
