Mary Elizabeth Norman was born June 18, 1933 and passed away peacefully with her loving family on January 10, 2023.
She was an amazing homemaker, sharing her life with Curtis Norman for over 40 years. She loved cooking, fishing, spending time with family, and especially loved being with Curtis. They were rarely separated. She also enjoyed watching the daytime TV soap operas, going to the casino every now and then with her friends in Colorado, also talking on the phone with her sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe, and Beatrice Salazar; husband, Curtis Norman; sons, Greg and Billy Cardenas; and daughter, Levenia Cardenas.
Survived by her daughters, Anna Cardenas and Theresa Bearden and husband Keith Bearden; fourteen grandchildren, Eric and Theresa Cardenas, Tim and Krisha Cardenas, Kristi Cardenas, Tony and Bonnie LaVergne, Veronica Mazen, Joanna and Jason Salus, Christina and Clay Wingfield, Wayne, and Brett Bearden; sixteen loving great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Mary will be held this summer in Walsenburg, Colorado, where she was born.
