Michael Allan Ham, 52, of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana was born on February 15, 1974, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away peacefully with family by his bedside on October 6, 2026.

Michael was a loving husband, son, father, and cherished member of his family. He enjoyed taking trips with his family and creating memories that will forever be treasured. He never got over his precious wife, Shelli, who was truly his world and held a special place in his heart.

Michael looked forward to Christmas Eve celebrations at his grandparents’ home and cherished the memories of his dad coaching him in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He found joy in the simple things: spending hours drawing, playing video games, listening to music, collecting baseball cards, and collecting DC figurines.

He is predeceased by his wife, Shielania Varnes Ham; father, H. Russell Ham; grandparents, Sam and Louise LaDart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lavinia Grace Ham; daughter, Katelyn Ham and Makayla Ham (March); brother, Christopher Ham (Jamie); sisters, Shannon McMillan, Michelle Ham Thornton (Lee), Melanie McMillon Dorman; and father, Mike McMillon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Love Donations are accepted.

A private family service celebrating Michael's life will be held at a later date.
