Funeral services celebrating the life of Michael “Mike” Lynn Auttonberry, 67, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 4th, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Roger Baker officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the mausoleum at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Michael was born on December 14th, 1958, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on August 31st, 2026, at his residence.
Mike faced many struggles throughout his life, but in his final days, he found the peace he had long sought. A member of The Well of Living Water in West Monroe, Louisiana, Mike gave his life to Jesus Christ just a few days before his passing. He placed his faith and trust in his Savior and found comfort in knowing he was loved, forgiven, and never alone.
Though his journey was not always easy, Mike’s final chapter was one of faith, grace, and hope. His loved ones take comfort in knowing he found peace in Jesus and is now resting in His loving presence.
He is preceded in death by his father, W.H. “Dub” Auttonberry; paternal grandparents, James and Matilde Auttonberry; maternal grandparents, Chester and Vera Mae Perkins; sons, Derek and Dustin Auttonberry; and brother, Ricky Auttonberry.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his mother, Brenda Auttonberry; sons, Shane Brady and Josh Auttonberry; sister-in-law, Carolyn Auttonberry; as well as a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.
The pallbearers will be Mike Clampit, Wayne Heckford, Shane Brady, James Auttonberry, Andrew Auttonberry, and Matthew Autttonberry.
The family would like to extend special thanks to his special cousins, Ginger Clampit and Pam Auttonberry; and his childhood friend, Paul Smalling.
