Michael "Mike" Glenn Montgomery

Michael “Mike” Glenn Montgomery was born on May 28, 1964, and passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2023, at the age of 59, after a brief illness. 

Mike proudly served his country as a Marine sniper during several conflicts around the globe. He was an avid hunter and loved to spend the majority of his time in the woods watching for that perfect deer. He had recently begun attending Oasis Church Bastrop, LA, and had become a student of Scripture. He had a larger-than-life personality and is missed by all who knew him. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James “Red” David Montgomery, Sr., and Gay Andrews Montgomery; his paternal grandparents, Travis Montgomery and Helen Montgomery Boone Cagle; his paternal step-grandfather, A.W. Cagle; and his maternal grandparents, Nolan and Helen Andrews. He is survived by his son, Sean Montgomery; grandchildren, Mackenzie Montgomery, Brodie Montgomery, and Elle Montgomery, all of Monroe; and his brother, James "Jim" (Lori) Montgomery of Rossville, GA.
