Michael Neil "Mike" Murray

Graveside services celebrating the life of Michael Neil “Moose” Murray, 59, of Columbia, Maryland were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2025 at St. Paschals Catholic Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana with Fr. Joe Martina officiating.

Mike was born on May 19, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on September 14, 2025, in Columbia, Maryland.

Mike was a beloved son, brother, friend and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was an avid sports and outdoorsman. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and being outdoors with his beloved dog, Jake. They were quite the “team”. He was a project manager for HVAC Corp and gave them many years of dedicated service. Mike graduated from West Monroe High School and then went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech University, where he was a member of their baseball team.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Patrick Neil Murray.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his parents, Jim and Ann Murray; brothers, Jim Murray, Jr. (Ellen), John Tom Murray (Paige), and Patrick Murray (Rebecca); nephews, Connor Murray, Gabriel McCain, and Major Hendrix (Aubrey); nieces, Emory Murray and Annalise Murray; as well as many dear friends and family in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Maryland
