Mrs. Allen was born on September 5, 1926, in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away on August 15th, 2026, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Mildred loved life and loved getting dressed up. She was creative at heart, she spent her days sewing, embroidering, quilting, and crafting Willow furniture each piece made with patience, skill, and love.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord with all her heart and faithfully attended church up until her passing, finding strength and purpose in worship and fellowship.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Charles Roush and wife, Sandy; son, Russell R. Allen and wife, Deborah; daughters, Ruby Ellis and husband, Homer and Virginia Fowler; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
