Minnie Fay McCain

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Fay McCain, 83, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 21, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, with Rev. Steve Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCain was born on September 28, 1941, in Bonita, LA, and passed away on July 16, 2025.

Minnie Fay McCain was a long-time resident of Ouachita Parish, LA, living in the same home with her husband, Leon McCain, for over 60 years. She was the mother of 3 children and “Mimi” of 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also a member of the Louisiana Medical Group Management Association, serving in various roles. She loved shopping and was very fashionable. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and was loved by everyone that knew her.

Mrs. McCain was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one younger sister.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Leon McCain; her 3 children, Connie McCain Morgan, Mike McCain and his wife Valerie, and Steve McCain and his wife Christy; her grandchildren, Stefani Guest, Kristi Cochran and husband Eric, Lindsey Morgan and husband Greg Dolbashian, Lily McCain and Cooper McCain.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
