Funeral Services for Morris B. Barnett, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Barnett was born on July 31, 1928 in Caldwell Parish, LA and passed away on March 20, 2012 in West Monroe, LA. He was a faithfull member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Barnett is preceded in death by his son, Glenn Bryan.
Survivors include his wife, Laurine Barnett; children, Karen Casey and husband, Ken; Terry Bryan; Keith Barnett and wife, Johnice; and Scott Barnett; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Bess Greer Williams and Angie Lowe; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Barnett, Chase Barnett, Keaton Barnett, Scott Thomas, Julius Ray, and Carl Dunn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcelle Ronquille, Kenneth Richardson, Don Whitlock, Jim Ledford and Joe Lambert.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Trinity Baptist Church.
