Mr. Gayle Dick

A graveside service for Mr. Gayle Dick, 92, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Northeast Louisiana Veterans’ Cemetery in Rayville, LA. Mr. Dick was born on September 14, 1932, in Cotton Valley, LA, and passed away on August 13, 2025, at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans’ Home in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Dick played football for LA Tech in the 1950’s and remained a devoted fan throughout his life. He was a coach for high school football and basketball, as well as a math and science teacher. Mr. Dick was also an avid rabbit hunter with his beagles.

There will also be a memorial service at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Olla, LA.
