Graveside services for Nancy Elaine Stokley, 58 of Rayville will be 11:00PM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Shanks Cemetery with Eric Silk and Pastor Renita Hemphill officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
Nancy was born on February 1, 1958 and passed away on November 3, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her parents-Terry Lee and Mary Ethel Anderson Hendrix; two brothers-Terry Lawerance Hendrix and Melvin Boris Hendrix; and a sister-Melva Ellen Black.
She loved to smoke, drink her coke, play bingo, roam the halls watching the nurses, watching Brookelyne dance, let her Brayleigh push her wheel chair down the hall, and loved her strawberry ice cream. She gave herself to the Lord one year ago.
She is survived by her daughter-Veronica Wilcher Thornhill of Start; two grandchildren-Hillary Thornhill of Start and Caleb Thornhill of Rayville; two great grandchildren-Brayleigh Cheyenne Lord and Brookelyne Paige Thornhill; two sisters-Mary Lee Norris and husband Bill of South Port, FL and Lela Fay Silk of Bee Bayou, LA; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 10:15AM at the funeral home.
