Orville Andrew Renfrow, Jr., 95, of Monroe, LA, died on March 16, 2026.
He was born in Winnsboro, LA, in 1931, to Orville Alton Renfrow, Sr., and Lilla Mae Renfrow. He attended trade school and studied many skilled trades. He worked at Olinkraft in West Monroe, LA, and then Georgia Pacific retiring from both companies. He joined the Air Force in 1949, and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, for three years. He was a proud veteran and loved his country. He was a man of faith and attended Bayou Oaks Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and faithful servant of God. He was also a member of the Gideons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annelle Renfrow; sisters, Shirley Taliaferro and Martha Ann Renfrow; brothers, Billy Renfrow and Tommy Shelton Renfrow; his son, Mark Renfrow; and his great-granddaughter, Lyla Grace Barmore.
He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Mahoney (Eddie Mahoney) and Beth Baer (David Baer); daughter-in-law, Pam Renfrow; brother, Charles Renfrow; sister, Joy Robinson (Bud Robinson); grandchildren, Ryan Mahoney, Jana Powers, Matthew Baer, Melissa Munuhe, Stacy Clark, and Jamie Renfrow; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 20, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Dr. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Mahoney, Jamie Renfrow, James Munuhe, Braxton Mahoney, Tyler Nordan, and Ian Clark.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Compassus Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Gideons would be greatly appreciated.
