Patsy Griggs Golson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Griggs Golson, 91, of Eros, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Kyle Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday.

Patsy Griggs Golson was born May 5, 1931, in Calhoun, LA and passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by first husband, William H. Walker, Jr.; her second husband, Thomas W. Golson; and her son, Bradford Michael Walker.

She is survived by her son, William H. Walker, III and wife Paula; daughter-in-law, Cheryl L. Walker, stepsons, Thomas Wayne Golson, Jr., Michael David Golson, and Troy Darrell Golson; stepdaughter, Valerie Golson Calhoun; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Ryan Walker, Ron Guyton, George Alexander, Jeremy Calhoun, Jarrod Golson and Garrett Sandel.

Her family is saddened by her passing, grateful for her 91 years with us and joyous for her presence in the eternal light of our God.  She was a person of generous spirit, quick to offer friendship to anyone who was willing to accept it. She was a good wife, a good Mom and a good citizen of her community.  Nanny will be missed by all that knew her.
