Pearlene Ann Banks Hise

Graveside Services for Pearlene Ann Banks Hise, 87, of West Monroe LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating.

Pearlene was born April 11, 1936, in Gillette, Arkansas and passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA.

She graduated with the class of 1955 from Lake Providence High School. She then worked many jobs in California, Louisiana, and Connecticut. 

Pearlene was the last of her siblings to pass. She passed away eight days after her baby sister, Bethel Williams. Her last memory was of love and laughter from nieces and nephews celebrating her sister, Bethel’s life. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Doug Hise; his father, Lemuel Matthew Hise; parents, Edith McDaniel Banks and John H Banks; brothers, Earl, Charles, and Elmer; and her sisters, Mae Munson, Mary Kile, Bernice Pace, and Bethel Williams. 

Survivors include her son, Steven Keith Hise and his wife, Annette Dean Hise; their children, Jeremy, Jamie, Jewel, and Jared; her daughter, Helen Christine Hise Coon and husband, Samuel Glen Coon; their children, Brandi Christine Coon, Carter, and Samuel Glen Coon Jr.;

Justin and Kelli Ann Hise from Doug Hise; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
