Rhonda Gayle Kelley
Muirhead
Oct 12, 1956 — Oct 16, 2026
Rhonda Gayle Kelley Muirhead passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, October 16, 2026. She was 70 years old and a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on October 12, 1956, Rhonda leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and lasting connections with the family and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Rhonda retired from Girling Home Health Care, where she found great joy in caring for the elderly. Her compassion and dedication to those she served made a lasting impact, and the love she had for her patients was returned by those whose lives she touched.
A high school graduate, Rhonda also completed cosmetology school. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and attending country music concerts. She was a fan of true-crime television shows, college football, and the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA team.
Above all, Rhonda loved her family. Although distance often made visits difficult, her love was always present and deeply felt. She was known for her generous spirit, caring heart, and, in her younger years, a mischievous streak that brought laughter and added to the memories her loved ones will forever cherish. Although Rhonda lived out of state for more than 50 years, West Monroe, Louisiana, always remained home in her heart.
Rhonda's greatest pride and joy were her three children, whom she loved unconditionally: Steve Wolgamot, Jr., Colby Wolgamot, and Preston Muirhead. Her love extended to her beloved grandchildren: Courtney Young, Mallory Petrovsky, Tyler Wolgamot, Kelsey Nevada-Swan, Bryanna Nicole Wolgamot, and Elijah Wolgamot. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, with another precious addition to the family expected in December.
Rhonda is survived by her sister, Becky Babin, and Rick Muirhead, along with her beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members who will continue to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Haley; her father, James Royce Kelley; and her brother, Jimmy Wyatt.
A memorial service to celebrate Rhonda's life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Rhonda will be remembered for her loving heart, generous nature, devotion to her family, and the special memories she leaves behind. Though she may have lived miles away for much of her life, she was never far from the hearts of those who loved her. Her absence will be felt immensely, but her love will remain a lasting part of the lives she touched.
She was deeply loved, she will be forever missed, and she will never be forgotten.
