Memorial services for Mr. Richard “Dickie” Getchell, 69, of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. Greg Clark officiating.
Mr. Getchell retired after 31years from Getchell’s Paint and Body Works. He had a natural talent for buying and selling anything from land to cars. Dickie always loved a challenge. In recent years his hobbies were visiting with seniors.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Getchell; eight brothers in-law; one sister in-law; two uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
