Robert Edward Betz

A graveside service for Mr. Robert Edward Betz, 91, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, with Rev. William Sikes officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Sunday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe.

Mr. Betz was born on July 21, 1934, in Auburn, IN, and passed away on August 27, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Betz was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Arthur E. Betz and Erna Reetz Betz, and his brother, James Dickmeyer.

Survivors include his wife, Fredine Riels Betz; stepdaughter, Toni Patrick Houck; son-in-law, Steve Houck; stepson, Tim Patrick; daughter-in-law, Melissa Patrick; granddaughter, Tracey Kempon; grandsons, Daniel Patrick and Aaron Cox; granddaughter-in-law, Kate Cox; and great grandsons, Eli Wales, Liam Patrick and Turner Cox.
