Funeral services celebrating the life of Robert Howard Joyner, 86, of Lehigh Acres, Florida will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Antioch Church with Pastor Kevin Pridemore officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Antioch Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

The visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.

Mr. Joyner was born on October 7, 1939 and passed away on September 16, 2026.

Robert was a beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished friend whose love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Matlacha, where his faith was an important part of his life.

Before retiring, Robert dedicated many years to his craft as a master carpenter and construction superintendent. He took great pride in his work and in the things, he was able to build with his own hands.

Above all, Robert treasured his family. He will be lovingly remembered for the life he shared with those he loved and the lasting memories he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed, but his love will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Florence Joyner; and sisters, Mary Jane Jones and Ann Duos.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Nancy Jean Tangen Joyner; sons, Michael Robert Joyner, Dennis Herbert Joyner, Stephen Howard Joyner, and Theodore Wayne Joyner; daughter, Amy Michelle Weber; ten grandchildren, Emily, Zachary, Gabriella, Adam, Kelsey, Kristen, Ava Rose, Micah, Sophie, and Caleb; great grandchild, Deklan and another one on the way; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

The pallbearers will be Archie Weber, Dennis Joyner, Zachary Joyner, Theodore Joyner, Caleb Joyner, and Jason Duos.
