The visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun.

Roy was a beloved husband, father, family man, and friend whose life was defined by his faith, his love for others, and his deep devotion to the community he called home.

Roy had a genuine appreciation for the simple joys of life. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and he especially cherished the quiet beauty of watching the sunrise. Those peaceful moments reflected the way Roy lived with gratitude, purpose, and an appreciation for God’s blessings.

As the owner of Kuntry Korner, Roy became a familiar and respected presence in the community. He took great pride in his business and in the relationships he built with the people around him. He was also formerly involved in the Calhoun Civic Club and the West Ouachita Baseball Complex, giving his time and support to organizations that strengthened and enriched the community.

Above all, Roy was a man of God. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a faithful member of Beulah Community Church. His Christian faith was evident in the way he treated others with kindness, generosity, humility, and genuine concern.

Roy was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. To his family, he was much more than a beloved patriarch; he was a source of strength, wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. His family cherished every moment shared with him and will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernette and Margaret Pierce; paternal grandparents, Harmon and Mamie Pierce; maternal grandparents, Loid and Sarah Ramsey; beloved brother and best friend, Melburn Ray Pierce; niece, Kelley Ann Lane; and uncle, Billy L. Pierce.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Delores Cockerham Pierce; sons, Jeffrey Pierce (Mary) and Will Pierce (Hilary); grandsons, Tucker Pierce and Sammy Pierce; granddaughter, Ramsey Pierce; sisters, Patricia Harris (Dannie), Sharon Allen (Tommy), and Melissa “Lisa” Reljac (Mark); sister-in-law, Nancy Pierce; special cousins, Billy L. Pierce, II and Darrell Lee; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.

The pallbearers will be Benjamin Pierce, Caleb Pierce, Mike Hankins, Mike Howard, Andy York, and Quinn Wall. The honorary pallbearers will be Billy L. Pierce, II, Darrell Lee, Mark Reljac, David Hodges, Joe York, and Scott Tripp.

Roy Alan Pierce leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, love, and friendship. Though he will be profoundly missed, the lives he touched will forever be better because he was a part of them. His memory will live on in his family, his church, his community, and in all those who were privileged to know and love him.
