Russell Ralph Allen Sr. went to his heavenly home on August 22, 2026 at the earthly age of 77. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday August 26, 2026 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA., with Rev. William Edwards officiating. Internment will follow in the Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

Born in New Orleans, La., and spent most of his life in Ouachita Parish. He spent his free time working on lawn mowers and woodworking. Russell made many memories with his fishing buddies on and off the water. Russell is preceded in death by his parents Robert Ralph Allen and Mildred R. Allen, brother, William A. Allen and wife Donna and many aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years Deborah Allen; daughter, Jody A. Peske (Cliff), son, Rusty Allen (Dodie), special son, Austin Reeves (Sarah); grandchildren, Carson Peske, Shelby Nemeth (Jacob), Ashton Allen, and Larra Conville; uncle, Charles Roush (Sandy).

Pallbearers will be Cliff Peske, Austin Reeves, Ashton Allen, Robert Wilson, Kernel Hobgood, and Paul Burch.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Russell Greer, Steve Danna and Kevin Taylor.
