Sadi Farlee

Funeral service for Mrs. Sadi K. Farlee, 81, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Woods Watson officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time at the Mausoleum.

Mrs. Farlee was born on December 3, 1943, in Delhi, LA, and passed away on June 14, 2025, in Monroe. She was a longtime member of First West in West Monroe, LA. Her passion was taking care of her children, but especially her granddaughter. Mrs. Farlee loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time praying and in worship.

Mrs. Farlee was preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant and Edna Cecelia Van Cleave McCandlish; husband, Milan Lloyd Farlee; sister, Judy McCandlish Williams; and two brothers, William Thomas McCandlish and Duke Stanley McCandlish.

Survivors include her children, Kiersten Farlee, Kimberly Fontenot and husband Tyler, and Kurt Farlee; granddaughter, Freya Fontenot; two sisters, Bonnie McCandlish Wynne, and Betty Jane McCandlish Zaunbrecher and husband Kirk; brother, Raymond McCandlish; cousin, Lula McCandlish Tolar; and numerous nieces and nephews.
